The PB4Y-2 Privateer is a rare, heavily modified naval patrol bomber that grew out of the B-24 family and was built for long-range maritime missions. It stood out with its taller single tail, stretched fuselage, and extra defensive features that made it look more like a purpose-built warplane than a converted bomber. Today, only a very small number survive, and this is the only flying example.
